| Cliff Dochterman Award Recipients from Orange County California. The photo shows 11 of the 15 the winners from Orange County. Their are only 219 recipients in the world. We are proud to have Buena Park Rotary member Dennis Salts amoung these outstanding people. Dennis is number 159 in the world he was honored 2 years ago.
The award is for Rotarians who have served in Scouting and Rotary the very first honoree was Cliff Dochterman.
The Cliff Dochterman Award, a bronze medallion hung from a gold and blue ribbon, may be awarded by a local Rotary Club or District Governor to an active Rotarian who has rendered exemplary service to scouting.
The Boy Scouts of America Relationships Committee has approved the wearing of the BSA Community Service Knot by Dochterman Award recipients who are members of the B.S.A.
