History of Club
 

How we define community service. The act of identifying needs in the community and addressing these needs with service projects. The Buena Park Rotary Club has a Fifty year history of performing community service in our local community.

Community service: is comprised of varied efforts that Rotarians make, some times in conjunction with other clubs, to improve the quality of life for those who live within the clubs territory.

Some of the things we do are:

Reading by 9
Books donated to the Library & Schools
Supporting the Library Reading program
Giving resources and support to the Library
Christmas Shopping for needy children Contributing sponsors and shopping advisors
Tree planting
We plant trees on Arbor Day in the community
Senior Exit Interview at Savanna High
Volunteer in this mentoring project
Family Fossil day at Ralph Clark Park
A wonderful family science experience at Easter Egg Hunt in the park
Eggstravaganza is a Easter fun family day
Designed award for excellent
Annual city wide contest
Scouting for Food
with join boys and girls scout to help the needy.

Support the centralia arts foundation
by donations and volunteering.
